THE PIPSTONE PATH
How We Began
In 2018 we began our venture as a mother-daughter company to publish the writings of Deborah Hoffman (the mother). From when Debby actually wrote her first full manuscript in 2010, much had changed over time in the publishing arena. She sought out many avenues for publishing, only to be discouraged by parts of the industry. Amazingly, self-publishing began to take off around 2015. The old ways of traditional publishing or throwing a ton of money out the door to make a book successful, were gone. We decided together that it was a great time to start something new and help her books become a success.
As a result, we found that actually we worked quite well together and were acquiring a plethora of knowledge and experience. We agreed that we wanted to create a vision of helping other authors achieve book success. That's where the name PipStones comes from- A pip is a seed. It's the beginning of growth and the start of something fresh and new. Then there's the stones. They are solid foundations that are dependable and sturdy. We believe books must have a solid foundation in order to grow into success. TaDa- PipStones!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to publish and market unique and refreshing works from a variety of authors and genres; to present and highlight their literary endeavors in an everchanging marketplace.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to assist authors by paving a foundational pathway for marketing/publishing their distinctive and unique writings. We believe that authors should have the freedom to continue writing instead of spending time figuring out how to publish and market their works. All authors should have the same traction in the self-publishing industry that authors do in traditional publishing.

Deborah Hoffman
Author/Owner
Debby is an Indie Publisher who writes novels, short stories, poetry and children's books. She loves to develop a story line that allows the reader to walk into the story themselves.
After years of writing contracts and working with inventors, Deborah's past skills along with her own published books allow her to be successful in the publishing and research side of PipStones, LLC.

Abigail Turner

Abigail is the PipStones Director of Publishing and Executive Assistant to Deborah Hoffman. Abigail's focus is to bring the writings of authors to the forefront of the marketing industry. She orchestrates the integration of the logistical pieces and fine details of self-publishing.
She works hand-in-hand with each author to implement strategies for their books that create long-term success.
